when everything else fails

Beneath The Strawberry Trees

your smile on a heavenly morning beneath the strawberry trees
sunshine creeping through the golden leaves of lure
my heart’s strings you captured i knew only then
i wait beneath the strawberry trees only for you

when the dusk falls bring a lantern to my strawberry lair
hush me with your whisper crawl in beside me before the birds see
dream for the setting sun while i stroke your hair
let us count the stars endless as my love is for you

listen to the tug of my love i will count the stars for you

when the night falls let the lantern burn bright
let me see your smile as heavenly as ever again
let the fairies whisper their queen is here again
i have waited for time endless as my love is for you

listen to the tug of my love i will keep the time for you

when the dawn comes let the hazy lantern light fade
thoughts of passion hidden in a blush let them run wild
dream of a morning while i caress your misty bosom
hear the rustle of the leaves endless as my love is for you

listen to the tug of my love i will pick the leaves for you

your smile on a heavenly morning beneath the strawberry trees
sunshine creeping through the golden leaves of lure
my heart’s strings you captured i knew only then
i wait beneath the strawberry trees only for you

Beautiful. Well Written, and I enjoyed the repetiotion and how the peom flowed. Although I have to admit I came to read this one more out of curiosity to see if it would be similair to my poem “Under the Cherry Bolssom”. If it is I’ll leave that to you.
